WE DO NOT HIDE OUR SHIPPING COSTS!

We put them right there in plain sight on the view cart page. Unlike other online stores that make you go through the entire order process only to find out that the shipping costs are very expensive. Not ours! We charge very minimal shipping costs! WE DO NOT HIDE OUR SHIPPING POLICIES
  Shipping Policy  
Due to restrictions on perishables, we are only allowed to ship 
to addresses in the United States to the 48 contiguous states. 
We cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes, APOs, FPOs, U.S. Territories or 
Internationally. We also do not deliver to Alaska or Hawaii.

Since all of our gifts are made fresh to order, we will naturally 
take a minimum of a day or 2 to design, build and carefully package 
your gift. We will notify you when the product is completed and has 
been shipped. Most gifts take 2-5 days to make and may take longer 
if we have to restock any of the components that we use to make the 
gift. Gifts ordered prior to Christmas, Valentines Day, Easter, and 
Halloween may require additional time to make, depending on the number 
of orders we are processing at the time. So order early and allow 
additional shipping time. 

We are not looking to make a profit through shipping 
and handling at Sweet Gifts. We pass on the costs and 
do not make a profit. The shipping options available 
are chosen to ensure delivery of your nuts or chocolate 
in perfect condition and within their shelf life. 
When choosing the shipping method please consider 
these guidelines. 

We ship United States Postal Service Priority Mail.
For an Additional charge we will ship USPS Next Day
Air for an additional charge. 

United States Postal Service Priority Mail usually 
arrives 2-3 business days after shipment. 
While we have found this service 
to be efficient and cost effective, we cannot 
guarantee an exact arrival date. The United 
States Postal Service does not provide a tracking 
number for their Priority Mail service. 

It is necessary to have a telephone number for all 
shipments. For office and business shipments, it is 
necessary to have a floor number. Failure to supply 
this information delays delivery of the package and 
will incur additional charges. 

Sweet Gifts is committed to sending the best and freshest 
Candy Designs and Gifts. However, we cannot accept 
responsibility for delays due to Acts of God. We cannot 
accept responsibility if given incomplete or incorrect 
delivery information. 

USPS will attempt to deliver the package up to 2 times. 
A notice will be left for the 
recipient to pick up the package at the Post Office. 
If the package is not picked up in a timely manner, we 
will have to instruct them to destroy the perishable package. 
The ordering customer will be charged even if the package 
has not been picked up. 

Warm Weather Shipping Policy:  Shipping chocolate products 
during the months of May - September requires heat 
sensitive packaging. To ensure product quality, a charge 
of $4.50 will be added to your shipping costs for specialized 
packaging. 
 
Shipping table applies unless there is a holiday that the post office 
isn't shipping on! Read Important tips when shipping to Apts, Schools 
& Business! We don't ship to APO's FPO's or outside the USA! We do not 
ship to patients in hospitals or guest in hotels!

SENDING TO AN APARTMENT?

Please confirm that someone will be available at the delivery location to 
accept the shipment on the day of delivery. Shipments being delivered to 
apartments will not be left at the door. If no one is home a notice
will be left and they can have it redelivered or pick it up at the post office.

SENDING TO A COMPANY?

To ensure a timely arrival, please verify the shipping/receiving policies of 
the company prior to ordering, especially if you are sending to a business 
location that has increased security (such as government buildings and banks).
We cannot be held responsible (no refund) if the delivery location will not 
except the package due to security issues. Please confirm that the recipient 
will be at the delivery location on the date of delivery.

SENDING TO A SCHOOL?

Please verify the receiving policies of the school prior to ordering. Please 
confirm that the recipient will be at
the delivery location on the date of delivery. If not send it to their home.

We will hand deliver locally in Pepperell Ma only, all other orders in Massachusetts 
will be shipped. 

We ship Priority normally! Shipping charges are $9.00 to $30.00 per box. 
SHipping charges are based solely on the Packaged Weight of an item and the size
of the box we need to ship it in. It takes 2-3 days shipping time but is 
not guaranteed by USPS. 99%of our orders arrive in this time frame. We do not ship 
to Alaska or Hawaii.

PLEASE NOTE ** There are no cancellations once you place your order, it is Processed, Built, and Shipped. We do not guarantee circumstances as follows:
A. Inclement weather which delay us from shipping a candy arrangement or if we need to hold an order after determining a cold pack is necessary. If this occurs we will need to contact you and request you purchase a cold pack and/or insulated packaging. B. Incorrect delivery address information given by customer. (No refund) C. Recipient not available to receive his or her candy arrangement. If no one is home a notice will be left about the delivery. If they do not pick it up or have it redelivered, it will be sent back to us & there is (No refund)
We cannot ship to patients in HOSPITALS! or people staying at HOTELS because of the short time people stay at these places, but we will ship to employees of hospitals or hotels. We ship to the 48 continental states only. Candy Boxes cannot be returned or exchanged because they are a food item, and we must maintain control of the quality of our candies gifts until they reach our customers. NO REFUNDS ON ITEMS SHIPPED TO INCORRECT ADDRESS. PLEASE TRIPLE CHECK FOR ACCURACY WHEN YOU FILL OUT YOUR ORDER. Our arrangements are hand made with care to create something different and unique for you. Each arrangement is individually boxed and each arrangement has a shipping charge of between 9.00 - 30.00 PER BOX depending strickly on weight and size. There is no tax charged.
